6/11/08 Delta insurance payment NOT applied by Fairfax Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery
The Delta insurance Explanation of Benefits: 6-11-08–Delta-payment-pub
Payment date: 6/11/08
Delta paid: $1,454
The deductible was $40 and Delta paid 80% of the “contract allowance.”
Please note that the amount of the dental bill was REDUCED by $346 because doctors and hospitals can only bill certain MAXIMUM amounts (contract allowance) as negotiated by the insurance companies.
This goes to show how the UNINSURED are fleeced!
Fairfax Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery SHOULD have reduced my client’s bill by $1,868, but apparently they “misapplied” the Delta payment and they decided to sue my client.
