I checked my PayPal account and despite my customer advising PayPal on Saturday that the products were shipped ok, the account is STILL negative.
I checked my bank account and it showed the pending PayPal charge. So I called the bank and they said that the charge “should” be removed by the end of the day. I asked to speak to someone who could make sure that they actually DO remove it, but was advised that it’s all done automatically. And that’s what they charge $30 for!
I thought I’d wait till noon before contacting the legal department to give PayPal a chance to release my funds, but no such luck.
So here’s my fax to the PayPal legal department:

- I published my PayPal nightmare at http://liarsandcheats.info/paypal-tips-tricks-and-traps/2011/12/04/terror-paypal-stole-over-3000-from-my-account/ and please advise of any inaccuracies.
- I just checked my account and it is STILL negative. What the hell is going on?
- How can PayPal LEGALLY steal my funds?
- Who regulates PayPal?
I’ll appreciate your response by fax or email to christine@liarsandcheats.info as I do NOT receive mail at my home in the desert.
Sincerely,
Christine Baker
If this matter is not resolved to my satisfaction by tomorrow, I will start a NEW blog about my lawsuit against PayPal.
And FYI, if you or someone you know has heart problems, eating cayenne pepper really works! I added a bunch to some soup yesterday and the pain in my arm went away within 15 min.
Unfortunately, I’m ready for more cayenne. I just realized that my fax account is automatically charging to my PayPal account or debit card and I don’t think charges will go through while the account is negative.
I have to check what other recurring charges (such as internet and phone) are set up for automatic payments to that account.
The stress …
